Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Hi there,

somebody told me about that photographer, who is using my photos for advertising his photography - classical art theft. He is from chile. What would you do? I think he does photography as well but is using my pictures and saying that it's his work:

In most cases - me personally - I would try to talk to the person first.
However with intellectual property I would choose to not notify the individual directly. As soon as they know that you know, they may begin using another alias, or opening another account, and then trying to track them again will be another battle.

I would gather what you can when you can... hell maybe even get someone to do a little detective work for you. Have someone maybe contact the artist and ask them whether they made that artwork or not. If you have a copy of them claiming that it's theirs that may hold more sway if the whole thing ever went legal.

mein beileid, sowas ist echt einfach beschissen. hast du nen anwalt in deinem verwandten- oder freundeskreis? wenn das ganze bezahlbar bleibt, würde ich auf jeden fall einen anwalt einschalten. ich wünsch dir schon mal viel glück!

Was du bewirken kannst wie z.B. bei Facebook ist die Löschung der Bilder. Wenn du einen Anwalt einschalten willst, wird es etwas problematisch. Warum? Weil der gute im Ausland sitzt. Ich weiß jetzt nicht wie Chile?! das Urheberrecht schützt, aber mehr als eine Löschung der Bilder kannst du nicht bewirken. Unterlassungsklagen usw...wird sehr schwer. Aber es ist nicht falsch, sich mal bei einem Anwalt zu informieren. Ist aber auch wieder eine Kostenfrage.... zahlst auch für ne Beratung um die 250€/h .

Das einzige was ich dir in dem Fall empfehlen kann ist ein Wasserzeichen über das Bild zu legen, damit sowas nicht vorkommt. Ja es verschandelt das Bild, aber hey das ist dein Werk und sich mit fremden Federn zu schmücken ist das allerletzte!
Ein digitales Wasserzeichen würde ich dir auch noch empfehlen. Deine Werke sind ja schon hochwertig und da solltest du wirklich mal danach umschauen.

Ich denke eben auch, dass die Kosten die Mühe nicht wert sind, ich will lediglich, dass die Leute das unterlassen.

Wasserzeichen ... ja .... die Bilder sehen dann halt echt nicht schick aus und vor allem sind hier und auf anderen Plattformen schon so viele ohne Wasserzeichen online ... ich müsste alle ersetzen -hm
