Hi there,
my last journal entry was about the 45 000 visits my photostream on flickr had. This one is about how my stream there got marked restricted for at least 30 days and therefore not visible for users outside of flickr....
I must have uploaded a pic 2 months ago that was not 'safe' but 'moderated', but I did't mark it that way.
Moderated pics can not be shared at all with people outside of flickr and flickr member don't see that they even exist, if their settings are the original ones (usual case).
Not safe and moderated marked are also pics there of models for exaple wearing a normal shirt and a thong or if you can see a bit of a breast, it does not even have to be nude, but covered, that can be too much too.
I was just wondering how my work can be 'not safe' or in other words dangerous to people.
I am not speaking of full frontal nudes or something like that, but just well -- the pics I take. Just have a look her and tell me what so dangerous about them but how there is nothing wrong with pictures of cruel violence.
If there only was the possibility to still share them with people by having them agree to want to see unsafe pics, but that is not possible if you don't have a flickr account.
I must admit that it makes me a bit angry and sad at the same time, because I feel like i am treated like someone who shares something illeal or so, when it's just some fine art nude photography. Most of the time not even really nude ...
Well I guess there is nothing I can do.
I thought of changing the platform and going to picasa or somewhere else, but I don't want to loose my contacts and visitors there.
So, do you have an idea of what I could do?

I swear! I had a incident this week where this image: [link] was deemed 18+ by mods on Model Mayhem. Now its on here, AP, Digital Artist, IFX, Redbubble, Artrician, Art Limited etc etc as is with no 18+ mark and they are all perfectly FINE with it.
So my question is: Is it just someone in the Mods having a bad day, took their period and their cat died and deemed these images to be unsuitable for public consumption?
I think it is. Next we cant fart without getting fined!
But back to your work. Due to the idiots in charge now, alas we will come up against this. To me and others your photos are beautiful pieces of art depicting the female form.
PS: I unmarked mine as 18+ the next day just to annoy their heads! UFPR covers can have more blood than that! meh!
