Hi there!

I am thinking of traveling to Sardinia with my bf this summer. Ireland was beautiful last year, but this year, I need to see an island, that is warmer :)
So I was thinking of doing some photo shoots there and was wondering, if there is some model (female) from Sardinia or close somewhere in Italy that would be interested in working with me. I speak Italian, if that helps^^

Or maybe a beautiful girl from somewhere else, who is also on vacation there in summer?

If you know someone or if you know a model platform with models from there, just let me know :)

I am looking forward to see the great nature, eat yummi Italian food and enjoy the sun. Hoping to come back then with beautiful photos (not only of the nature there) for you as well ^^

Let's see ...
A model of mine startet taking pictures a few weeks ago. Yesterday I gave her a little workshop and posed a bit for her, that is when she took that picture of me, that i like :)
That is a thing that a lot of creative semi-professional or professional models try after a while, because the 'other side of the lense' becomes very interesting as a tool to express yourself after knowing the camera from being in front of it :)
If you want to take a look at her other work: [link]

:)
Hi there

since people have often mistaken me as the model in my pictures or thought that I was the photographer in the ones, where I acutally was just the model, I created a folder within my gallery with the few pictures of me in front of the camera. So I hope that there will be no confusions from now on. I realized that most people don't really read the text under a picture it seems, even when it's just a one-liner ;)
So if you are reading this and didn't know it by now: I am usually behind the camera, in my gallery you can find mainly pictures that I shot. But there are a few pics of me modeling, since I do that from time to time and a few self portraits.
You can find the folder here:  [link]

Right now I am missing the summer and spring time, had enough snow and would really like to go out to do some shoots with warm sunlight :D
How about you?
Hi hi

since some days it's impossible for me to upload new prints. It seems like it works, I can click through all the settings, but in the end, the print is not enabled :(
Do you have similar problems?

I already wrote a support request that has been then sent to the tech team, I think, but so far it's still the same.

So if you want to buy a print that is not in my shop at the moment, just let me know. I hope the problem will get fixed soon.

Other than that, I am planning some outdoor shoots, but the weather isn't sure itself what's next, so I need to stay spontaneous :)
I am looking forward to the spring time and blossoms and green trees again :D

EDIT: it's working again!

Geraldine
Hi hi

maybe you read my plans for this year... I wrote that I wanted to do some shoots with a darker mood.
Well that picture is a first little step in that direction :)
That is how a vampire lady looks to me ^^

Unfortunately the print submission is not working at the moment for my latest pictures, I hope that will be fixed soon. So If you like that picture and want to have a print of it, you'd need a little patience.

Have a good evening

Hi there

hope you had a good start in the new year. I had a great one and celebrated a lot :)

For this new year I am planning some interesting shoots. You can expect a shoot with a voodoo priestess, a shoot outdoors with an indian mystical girl, more glamour, sensual shoots, maybe some self-portraits and perhaps another shoot with 2 girls.
Also, I think I'll maybe try something new with a dark, scary mood and some sort of ghots or other creepy creatures, but I am not sure yet.

What do you think?

Geraldine
PS: wish you all a great new year full of happiness!
Hi there,

I just wanted to wish you all a merry Christmas and some very nice, relaxing days. I'll be spending Christmas sick, but with my family :)
Thanks for watching my photo stream and supporting me by all your clicks and making my pictures to your favorite ones as well as for all the nice comments. Also, I am very happy that 14 people bought my calendar :D, it's a nice thought to know that my work is on some of your walls :)

Have a great day!
Geraldine
Just wanted to take a look at the most popular photo in the artistic nude section and guess what I found?
Two of my pictures! These ones:

Wow, not too high in the ranking but they are in there. I was very surprised and very happy to see that.

So I just wanted to say thank you to all my watchers :D THANKS

Geraldine

Hi again

and thanks for all the responses to my last journal entry.
First I have to clarify: I think that most people that say that i shoot like a girl, don't mean it in a negative way. They often express it by adding that my pics are so romantic and fragile or something like that.

I just always wondered why ppl think that this might have something to do with me being female. When ppl learn about my job, meaning that I am a mathematician, they seem to be surprised, like that wouldn't be typical female. Although then my photographic work looks typically female to them. I was wondering if that idea came up before or after knowing that I am a girl.

Regarding my models: I think it's true that they feel more relaxed with a girl as a photographer and that it helps with the photos then. But I also think that it is a real benefit for my work as a photographer that i used to model myself (well and sometimes still do), 'cause I usually know exactly what poses and expressions I want and how to get there ;) and being a woman I think I know how women like to look or to be portrait, so yes: usually my model's really like the work we do together and how they look in our photos.

But there are disadvantages too... sometimes people are like 'what, you are gestiefeltekatze?? I thought you were a man. Wow, didn't expect a woman to take these pictures. And you are so young, too!'. -Like that seems so be so unbelievable as me being a mathematician. So I guess my pics don't always look like they have been taken by a young woman.... ;)
Hi there

I just thought of something many people say to me: that looking at my pictures, you can tell that they have been taken by a girl/woman.

Do you agree? And is it a good thing or bad thing?

I actually don't really thing much about these things. I just take pictures the way I think they'd look good, make my model's do certrain poses, wear certain clothes, etc. ... but I don't intentionally do 'female' photography.

Let me know what your opinion is on that topic, if you want :)

Thanks and bye bye
Hi there!

It's been almost a year since I've been to a LARP. I missed it. If some of you are Roleplayers as well or fantasy-fans and interested, just take a look at some of the pics that I took:

Thanks
Hi there

yesterday I did a photoshoot with Concetta Mazza, from Germany's Next Top Model 2011, the show with Heidi Klum. She was my favorite model from the start at the show, but had to leave early. I was very glad, when she agreed to shoot with me :)

So we went out and did some natural, calm outdoor photos :)
Have a look, if you are interested.

Cheers
Geraldine

Didn't expact that ^^
Hi there,

somebody told me about that photographer, who is using my photos for advertising his photography - classical art theft. He is from chile. What would you do? I think he does photography as well but is using my pictures and saying that it's his work:

What would you do to make him stop? Have you tried to hire a lawer in those cases?
